Monitoring the SAP landscape and being able to draw conclusions from the monitoring and act accordingly is an important part in the security process. SAP customers can use several tools for monitoring, but often find that these tools are point solutions that deal with one aspect of security only (authorizations/roles, for instance, neglecting system configuration and other issues), are not integrated with each other, or not flexible enough to cover specific requirements. And some monitoring requirements are not supported by tools at all and can be solved with manual inspection of log files only.

We aim to solve these problems with a solution – agileSI (SI stands for Security Intelligence) – that can be used for almost all aspects of SAP security monitoring, can integrate other monitoring solutions as data providers or replace them, and gives a complete and clear picture of security in the SAP landscape. Either in a SIEM (Security Intelligence and Event Management) solution or stand-alone with its own front-end.
