Service modules

Active Directory

Active Directory serves as the basis for the efficient and secure operation of several Windows servers and the management of users and groups. We can take care of the structure planning and the Active Directory management for you. Of course, you can also administer users by yourself. Within the scope of the Active Directory Service module, you can also entrust us with the operation of Active Directory-related services like DNS, WINS, Radius (Internet authentication server), and DHCP.

Exchange

We offer you a wide range of operation concepts for your Exchange server. For example, you can ask us to run it as a standalone server, a cluster with SAN/NAS, or a distributed and redundant system. If you wish, we can additionally operate a mail gateway from IronPort to protect your Exchange server and efficiently filter spam and viruses from the mail traffic before these can wreak havoc ‒ without impairing your business communications. Furthermore, we successfully run the Exchange virus scanner from ESET for our customers in order to keep internal mail traffic virus-free as well.

E-mail archiving

In addition to the operation of your Exchange server, we can take care of the compulsory e-mail archiving for you. Our employees are highly skilled and experienced in the use of the Mailstore product, which fully satisfies statutory requirements and is certified by the audit firm IT AUDIT GmbH.

Application or member server

Concentrate on your core business and run your applications. We will make sure that the basic functionality of your server is kept available, monitored, and up to date.

MS SQL

More often than not, modern business applications need a database. However, not everybody is familiar with the details of databases, and not everybody has the time to learn these. Let us do this job for you. Together with other modules, such as Backup, we can ensure a reliable, operable database whose data are regularly backed up.

Internet Information Server

Web servers have become an indispensable part of our environment, e.g. for Web applications on the intranet, for company Web sites on the Internet, and for the exchange with partners and customers. In combination with our Update Server module and add-on products like Web Application Firewalls, we ensure secure and reliable operation of your Internet Information Server.

Backup

Have you ever been in a situation in which a server crashed and you then noticed that your backup solution has already been out of order for quite some time or a backup job did not contain the data you needed? With our backup solution, you no longer need to worry about such problems. Exchange servers or databases can be backed up even during operation. It is also possible to restore individual e-mails.

Microsoft Terminal Server

You are on the road and need to get data from your business application for your customers, but you have to wait very long until you get your results. Does this problem sound familiar? The Microsoft Terminal Server is one way to solve this problem. Work remotely as though you were inside your corporate network, without using any additional VPN software. Terminal Servers can also be used for connecting business partners or for administration purposes. We can help you to solve your problems with innovative concepts.

Virtualisation

Virtualisation provides many advantages, such as better utilisation of existing resources, fewer operating system licences, less power consumption, and other cost savings related to green IT. Additionally, virtualisation provides new possibilities to increase the operational reliability, e.g. by distributing services to different virtual servers or by implementing entirely new disaster recovery solutions. ESXi is a free virtualisation solution that can be supplemented with commercial modules if necessary. Our certified team members would be pleased to give you more information.

We monitor your servers, you get reports

By default, our monitoring supervises the RAM and CPU load. Upon request, the execution of services and processes can also be monitored. Thanks to the monthly reporting, you can easily see the availability of the monitored server properties and services as well as the overall availability of the server. In the event of problems, you can send an e-mail to request speedy and competent assistance by means of our ticket system. In emergencies, you can of course also call our hotline directly.
